Here’s hoping you are looking forward to the coming long weekend- chilling and having fun with family and friends- as only South Africans know how to do!

On Thursday, 20th March, we celebrate Mabon - or the Autumn equinox at 11H01.

This is a time of balance, reflection and honouring the cycle of life.  As we head into autumn, the days will begin to get shorter.

A significant part of Mabon & the Autumn Equinox is allowing yourself to let go. In order for the trees & the plants to continue to grow & evolve, this is the season when they must let go. For the trees, this means dropping old leaves so that next spring, they can sprout new leaves – new life, new growth.

We must also do this work in our lives, especially if we wish to continue to expand & grow. Autumn is the season for looking inward & doing the work of releasing old stories, false limiting beliefs you’ve held, things that no longer serve you, and things that are hindering your personal growth & evolution. You must release them like leaves falling from a tree! 

On the plus side, you could find yourself feeling optimistic this long weekend. Perhaps even thinking of manifesting a new project? Something to do with health and well-being? This could be the perfect weekend to go hiking, biking - or for all those garden fanatics,  of which many follow Crystal Spirits- it's time to spend the whole weekend enjoying the bliss your green fingers create.
