Wherever you are, and whatever your own personal traditions and celebrations, we wish you all a Merry Yule and Winter Solstice and a Happy New Year.
Yule is celebrated as the winter solstice and marks the longest night of the year and the depth of winter in the Southern Hemisphere. It is a time of rebirth and renewal as the sun begins its return toward longer days, bringing hope for spring. Traditionally, Yule involved feasting, candle lighting, and fire rituals to honour community and light in darkness. Today it remains a festival of reflection, warmth, and hope.
Yule is a time for reflection and remembrance.
Tonight, with the support of the cosmos compile a list of goals and aspirations for the upcoming year. Write this list by candlelight, with one chosen candle, that you keep specifically for this task. Revisit and reflect on what you have written time and time again - with the same candle, lit intentionally, creating a personal ritual where you take time to, manifest or meditate on your intention - and new year goals.
