Merkabah or Merkaba is a star tetrahedron, a three-dimensional eight-pointed star made from two equally sized interlocked tetrahedra. Triangular pyramids of light with a common centre, where one tetrahedron points up and the other down. It harmonises male and female energy, much like a Yin/Yang symbol. “Mer” means light, “Ka” means spirit and “Ba” means body. Merkaba-Light Spirit Body.
To explain what Merkaba is, you must first begin to understand the flow of energy and the energy fields that surround the human body. The first, Prana or Chi is the life force. This is the unseen energy that exists everywhere in the universe. Prana enters the body through the top of our head (crown chakra), this is the reason there is a hole in the top of the skull of unborn embryos which in our infancy is referred to as “the soft spot”, which gradually closes and hardens as we develop.
The majority of the Prana flow runs through the core (centre) of our body like a tube. This energy flows into the eight main centres known as chakras. Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning “turning wheel”. From each chakra, there are branches of energetic lines (meridians) that reach every cell in our body. We have a Prana field that surrounds our body as a result of the meridians and the Prana flow. The is now the field of the aura.
The auric field is an egg-shaped energy field that surrounds our body and changes its colour according to our thoughts, feelings and emotions. After the auric field, we have hundreds of electromagnetic fields. These fields have precise geometrical shapes. Each one of them is made up of three identical fields with the same size and shape. We are able to rotate two of the three-star tetrahedron fields in opposite directions by using the ancient Prana breathing technique to create a seventeen-meter energy field which is our “light” body, the Merkabah.
