Fellow Weavers,
Beware of leprechauns hiding in your home!
They are running amok as we celebrate St Patrick's day this 17th March. In Celtic folktales, leprechauns were cranky souls responsible for mending the shoes of the other fairies. Leprechauns have their holiday on May 13 but are also celebrated on St. Patrick's, with many dressing up as wily fairies.
Itβs also a βgo green dayβ- the brighter, the better- you can add white stripes- but no orange. Leprechauns are one reason you should wear green on St. Patrick's Dayβor risk getting kidnapped! The tradition is tied to folklore that says wearing green makes you invisible to leprechauns, which like to kidnap any human they can see.
